As a Professor of Economics and Finance at BITS, Pilani, Pilani campus, I believe that ‘to teach is to learn twice’. I opt for an interactive teaching style that encourages student participation and enthusiasm while facilitating learning for both. I always like meeting young minds and get inspired with their passion and energy they exhibit. I always believe that research and teaching are related and hence correlate research findings with classroom teaching. I prefer to work towards developing syllabi for new courses, and teaching models and techniques to facilitate need based learning.

 

I received a First class Master’s in Economics, M. Phil in Economics, and a Doctorate in Macroeconomics from University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. My teaching and research interest is in the field of Macroeconomics, Financial Economics, Development Economics, Green and Sustainable Finance. With over 23 years of teaching experience, I involve in course and curriculum development and research activities and publish articles regularly in national and international journals.
