Expression of Wisdom and Perspectives

Aamir Jamal is an inspiring 4th Year student of Electronics and Communication Engineering at BITS Pilani,  Dubai and he has the coveted acceptance letter of Stanford University in his hand. As he couldn’t be more excited for the Autumn intake, our team at Expressions wanted to know his take on the thing he owed his success most to, which is his ‘Research oriented Mindset’. He says and we quote ‘ Research is ignition of curiosity to see what everybody has seen but to think what no one else has thought!. In my second year, Dr. Abdul Rajak of Electrical and Electronics Engineering department helped me get interested about RF Microelectronics and urged me to pursue my curiosity. I ventured into the topic and really enjoyed what I found. It felt like a quicksand and kept pulling me into it. One thing I would like to tell my juniors is that if you spot a flame in anything then enquire it, pursue it and go deep in it until you can pin point its spark. This is the only way to truly find your passion’
