C.Phaneendra Kiran is currently serving as Lecturer in Department of mechanical engineering at BITS-Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa campus, Goa. He did his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India in 2001. During his Bachelor degree he did a three weeks project at Fachhochschule Hochshule fur Technik, Esslingen, Germany. He did his PhD and Master of Engineering from BITS-Pilani, Pilani Campus, Pilani, India in 2013 and 2004. During his M.E., he did 6 months practice school at General Motors, Halol, Gurat. In 2004, he chose BITS-Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa campus, Goa to continue his academic pursuit by working towards his PhD. Degree.

He is having eight years of teaching experience. He has taught various courses in Mechanical engineering at BITS-Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa campus, Goa, since 2004. He conducted Practice school program during summer 2005. He was a session chair for one of the IEEE conferences.  Also, he has been actively involved in the course and lab development at BITS. He published research articles in various international journals of repute.He is an active reviewer for the journal Concurrent Engineering:Research and applications, SAGE publishing.
