Research Interests: Biofunctionalization of silver based nanocomposites for antimicrobial applications; Synthesis of biocompatible nanomaterials for tissue engineering and application of nanomaterials in molecular biology research; Interactions of nanomaterials and microorganisms with respect to nanomaterial synthesis as well as toxicity, with special emphasis on halophilic archaebacteria.
