ABOUT 

Dr. Richa Singhal joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus in July 2017 as an Assistant Professor. Before joining BITS Pilani, she was working as a Postdoctoral Scientist in the Department of Chemistry at George Washington University, USA. Dr. Singhal received her doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University, USA in June 2016. She completed her M. Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in 2010 and B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University in 2008. Before obtaining her PhD, she worked as a scientist at CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun. Her research interests include nanomaterials synthesis and characterization, electrochemical energy storage and conversion devices, renewable energy sources, and CO2 mitigation.
