About the Faculty
Dr. Ritika Jaiswal joined the Department of Economics and Finance as an Assistant Professor in 2018. She has done PhD in commodity derivatives (finance) from the School of Management, National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Surathkal, Mangalore. Her research interests are Financial Economics, Energy Economics, Energy Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Derivatives, and Risk Management Tools.

Work Experience
Dr. Ritika Jaiswal has worked as a Senior Process Associate in Market Risk Operation at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Bangalore. The major assignments performed by her during her tenure in TCS were to calculate the beta and volatility for the securities, identify the securities which has breached the tolerance level for beta and volatility and give the comments, estimate the fixed strike volatility of equities and index for different tenors and find the idiosyncratic volatility of corporate bonds.
