  • Presented a paper titledSpice Wars, Explorers and Pirates in the Indian Ocean as represented in Comic Books for Children’ in IGU Conference Ocean and Seas in Geographical Thought (Session 5- "Images and imaginaries of the Sea") in University of Milan, Italy on 6-7th June 2023.

  • Presented a paper titled  "Representation of Violence: Women and Maritime Attacks in Indian Ocean in Comic Books for Children" at the two-day National Conference Women, Narrative & Agency: Enhancing Women’s Empowerment in India by Probing Violence, Gender Discrimination and Recuperation & Voices Unheard: An Approach to Indigenous Indian Literature organized by the Department of HSS, IIT Roorkee, on April 12 & 13, 2023       

  • Presented a paper titled Representation of Hydrocolonialism and Spice Feuds in Popular Culture and Literature in an International Seminar on Popular Culture and Contemporary Literature in Pondicherry University, November 10-11, 2022.

  • Presented a paper titled The Ambivalence of ‘belonging’ and ‘un-belonging’ to the Jew Street: A Critical Analysis of Sethumadhavan’s novel Aliyah in a conference titled The Street and The City- Moments organized by School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon, Portugal, September 7- 92022.

  • Presented a joint paper with Ms. S. M Mithuna titled Re-Presenting the Hinterland: Chenkalchoola and the Reconfiguration of Social Imaginary at the International conference Hinterlands: Cultural and Literary Perspectives organized by the University of Wroclaw, Poland, March 18-20, 2022.

  • Presented a paper titled Recalibration of the Colonial and Gender Paradigms by Pooradam Thirunal Sethu Lakshmi Bayi during 1921- 1934 in a National Conference Celebrating Unheard Voices of Charismatic Women in Indian writing in English organized by IIT Roorkee on 3rd December, 2021.

  • Presented a joint paper titled Conditional Kinship: Mahe and Muziris remembering their Overseas Visitors with Ms. Revathy Hemachandran in the National Conference Contextualizing Migration: Perspectives from Literature, Culture and Translation organized by GITAM University, Hyderabad held between Jan 6-8, 2020.
  • Presented a paper titled Maritime Politics along the Pepper Highways of Malabar: Revisiting the Representations of Arab-Portuguese Spice feud in Literary works in Re-calibrating Diasporas Conference at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia held between 27- 28th June, 2019.
  • Presented a paper titled Inducing ‘Precarity’ through Cultural Stereotypes: Interrogating the popular stereotypes of the Parsi community in an international conference titled “Challenging Precarity” organized by AURO University, Surat in collaboration with the University of Northampton (UK) and Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) between January 27-29th 2019.
  • Presented a paper titled The propensities of being a Gulf Wife: Re- Examining the fictional narratives of Deepak Unnikrishnan’s Temporary People in a national conference titled “Language and Literature: Transgressing Boundaries” organized by The Foundation for the Study of Literature and Environment (FSLE- India) and Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Delhi on 31st Jan 2019.
  • Presented a paper titled Defying the ‘Difference’: Understanding the Scamper for Space amongst the Migrant Middle class in Mumbai through literary representations in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang in the ICL 2018 on 26th July 2018.
  • Presented a paper titled “Unravelling the spice politics & Cosmopolitanism of Kochi: Emerging alternate representations in N. S Madhavan’s Litanies of Dutch Battery” at national conference on Comparative Humanities: Re-Configuring Humanities across cultures at EFL University, Hyderabad from 5th to 7th April 2017.
  • Attended and presented a paper titled “Beyond Spice trade and temple conquests: Palimpsest memories of colonial regimes along the Malabar coastline in the native imagination” at a conference organised by South Asian Literary Association (SALA) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania U.S.A from 2nd to 4th January 2017. 
  • Presented a paper titled  Gauging the role of Socio-cultural events in selection of themes in Temple Art Forms like Krishnanattam and Koodiyattam in a National Conference on " Epic in India" held in Centre for Comparative Literature, University of Hyderabad (HCU) held from 24- 26th August 2016
  • Presented a paper Negotiating faith and culture: Lives and world-view of boatmen in Banaras in a seminar titled “Framing India through Perspectives from Elsewhere” in Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (IIAS), Shimla on 27-29 July.
  • Attended and presented a paper titled Challenging Matrilineal  Identities Lost in Space and Time: A cross examination of Kerala women through the representations from selected Indian English Fiction in a two day National Conference organized by IIT-Roorkee and Sahitya Academy 21-22 March 2015.
  • Presented a paper titled Re-Imagining the narratives of the Gulf Diaspora in  Literature at the 15th Annual South Asian Literary Association (SALA) Conference, Vancouver, B.C, Canada, 6-8th Jan 2015.
