  1. Achieved first rank in M. Tech. (Urban Planning) course, Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, Maharashtra, in all the semesters.
  2. Qualified for the Half-time Teaching and Research Assistantship to pursue Doctoral Programme at IIT Madras from Ministry of Human Resource Development (Government of India).
  3. Received Indian Roads Congress Medal for outstanding paper on Road Research sponsored by Bihar PWD. Paper Title- Enhancing the Accuracy of Estimation of Passenger Car Unit for Vehicles of Heterogeneous Traffic, published in Highway Research Journal.
  4. Received "Best Paper Award" in the Student Symposium on Research in Civil Engineering (SSRCE-09). March 5–6, 2009, IIT Madras, India.
  5. External examiner for M. Tech (Urban Planning) final projects at VNIT, NAGPUR and SVNIT Surat. 
  6. Worked as reviewer for the conferences held at IIT Madras, IIT Bombay and SVNIT Surat (2012).
  7. Received partial travel grant from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to attend and present my research paper in the 9th International Conference on Applications of Advanced Technology in Transportation, August 13-16, 2006, Chicago, USA
  8. Received partial travel grant from Department of Science and Technology to attend and present my research paper in the 20th European Modeling and Simulation Symposium, September 17–19, 2008, Italy.
  9. Received Indian Institute of Technology Madras Financial Assistance to attend and present my research paper in the 20th European Modeling and Simulation Symposium, September 17–19, 2008, Italy.
  10. Received Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) Student Fellowship to attend and present my research paper in the 8th International Conference on Transportation Planning and Implementation Methodologies for Developing Countries, IIT Bombay, India.
  11. Received partial travel grant from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, (CSIR), New Delhi, to attend and present my research paper in the International Conference on “ITS for Larger Cities” during 12 –13 May, 2009 at Munich, Germany.
