Career Counseling


Students have a lot of hard decisions to make while they were in college. This range from the courses to take to deciding which internships would benefit their career. At Bits Pilani Dubai Campus career counseling is given at most importance. From Academic counseling in their specialized fields, to helping pave their start up ideas, the counseling team covers it all. Our Placement Executive and the professional counselor Reema Menon holds regular sessions with students in person, to help them take smarter decisions in every aspect of life, whether career or personal.


Training and Workshops


Changing paradigms have made it mandatory for an academic institution to promote a new generation of professionals – individuals who are equipped with right kind of knowledge, technical skill set and most importantly, ability to think of simple and innovative solutions to problems.  BITS Pilani Dubai offers a plethora of skill-based programs in areas such as:  Process and Product Design, Quality Control and Optimization, Project Management, Strategic Planning, Disruptive Innovation, Blockchain and many more. One of our key highlights included the Competency Development Program on Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in collaboration with KPMG India. We are excited to announce the Zoho Campus Program where they are eager to train amateurs to master the art and logic of programming.


Industry Engagement


BITS Pilani Dubai Campus has invited the Talent Acquisition Teams of top-notch organisations to have an exclusive Networking Day on campus as part of the recruitment drive to select the crème de la crème. Various on-site visits have been conducted and many companies are holding on-the-job training for a day to help students get a glimpse of the jobs that they would be involved in

-Students from the EIE, EEE and ECE Departments attended the Innovation Day Summit at Schneider where Sustainable Development and Renewable Energy Innovations were redefined.

-Open Day-Schneider Electric: After the success of the INNOVATION TRUCK in the Schneider innovation summit, the innovation truck comes to the Bits Pilani Dubai Campus which allows students to experience virtual reality, learn about IOT and AI from the trailblazers. Beginning with an Orientation, our Schneider Alumni spoke about they converted internships to full-time job opportunities, which was followed by a series of interviews.

-PWC Networking Event: BITSians are left enthralled by myriad of opportunities, from Data Analytics to Business Intelligence and so much more.

-Gulf Food Manufacturing Exhibition: The Placement Division interacts with Tetra Pak Representatives to learn about their Future Talent Programme and innovations in the Food and Beverage Industry.


Career Fair


With the motto, ‘Opportunities don’t happen, you create them’, BITS Pilani Dubai has organised two successful career fairs, where representatives from  sought-after MNCs , such as Souq Amazon, Thomson Reuters, Pwc, TetraPak, Dubizzle, OTIS, Schneider, Danway and local conglomerates interacted with students on an individual basis to discuss about placement and internship opportunities. Strategic Career Partners, such as and were set up to offer personalised evaluation through CV Clinics and Career Coaches who have had experience of working in Europe and MENA provided helpful insights of workplace culture differences and global corporate experiences.



Recruitment Drives


The Recruitment or Placement drives start in the month of February, 5 months prior to Graduation. The Job descriptions of various companies are shared along with other details through a job placement form. Furthermore, the company and job information is shared with the eligible students and the interested students apply online. This is followed by a Pre-Placement talk which leads to the selection process. A list of the selected students is released as soon as the companies share the information with the placement division. Students sign the company offer letter and the process of placement drives officially comes to an end.



Student Job Portal


The Placement Division doesn’t just ensure that a potential student gets a job after graduation, it goes a step further, by ensuring that an individual’s educational background, interests, skill set and personality align with the organisation that they envision themselves to be at. Offering a real-time, fully automated platform, where students can continuously update their profile, the Talent Acquisition professionals screen applicants to ensure that both the company and the candidate are a perfect fit.
