About the Faculty
Dr. Aditya Sharma is an experienced life sciences researcher with over 12 years of experience (including Ph.D. tenure) of working in academia (along with industry collaboration) and clinical settings in premier research institutions in India. He has a master’s in bioinformatics from Pondicherry University and a Ph.D. in Genetics from University of Delhi South Campus, followed by two years of postdoctoral research at AIIMS, New Delhi as senior project associate and DBT-UNESCO Regional Center for Biotechnology, Faridabad (Feb 2022 – Jan 2023) as project scientist-I. His areas of expertise include bioinformatics and computational biology - specifically computer aided drug design (CADD), molecular modeling, computational chemistry, cheminformatics and MD simulations, as well as human genetics, complex genetic disorders, computational genomics, pharmacogenomics and whole exome sequencing data analysis, scientific writing and communication.
