About the Faculty:
Dr. Akshay V is an Assistant Professor at BITS-Pilani, Dubai Campus since Jan 2021. He had previously worked as an Assistant Professor at NIT Warangal, India and as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Sembcorp-NUS Corporate Laboratory at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He completed his PhD degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering at NUS in Jan 2018. His research is focused on concrete and steel structures, with emphasis on fiber reinforced concrete, steel-concrete composite design and modular construction. Prior to his candidature as a PhD student, he worked as a Senior Engineer with L&T-ECC from 2011-2013.
