There are currently 60 ongoing UG/ PG projects in the fields of Renewable Energy, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, Mechanical Equipment Design,  Computer Aided Design and Analysis, Thermal and Fluid power Engineering, Finite Element Methods,  Industrial Engineering etc.. The faculty members are been involved in offering consultancy services to industries. Experimental and computational facilities are being continuously upgraded. Industry interaction has been promoted with practice school courses and many students are working in industry-sponsored projects.
