Dr. Ravi Kadlimatti received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the B.M.S. College of Engineering in Bangalore in 2010. Later he received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York (SUNY), USA in 2012 and 2017 respectively. From 2017-2020 Dr. Kadlimatti worked as a postdoc in the ADWISR Center at SUNY, Oswego, USA. During this time, he was also the co-entrepreneur lead of a team of four people that won the $50k National Science Foundation, USA grant in 2018 for exploring commercialization of a patent pending wireless power transfer technology. He was nominated for the Best Student Paper Award in the 2016 IEEE Radar Conference. Dr. Kadlimatti has several journal and conference publications in the areas of mismatched filters, good code sets for multistatic/MIMO radar and MIMO communications applications, orbital angular momentum communications and nondiffracting beams.
