Computational Linguistics: Investigation of empirical, language-agnostic approaches to dependency and semantic relations, esp. syntactico-semantic karaka relations.

Optimization and Analysis of Heuristics.

I don't mind if you have mixed motivation, but, in the mix, if the thrill of working on a practical project or an abstract idea is missing, then it's like the pantry tea  in a train. If you are really itching to do something, regardless of whether it will result in an A-grade in an elective course, or in a recommendation, or in a nice product prototype, then welcome. If we remain a team for longer than one semester, surely all these outcomes follow.
