Jabez is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, BITS-Pilani (Hyderabad Campus), where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in computer science and engineering. He holds M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science & Engineering from Anna University, received in 2011 and 2017 respectively. He also holds an MBA degree with an emphasis on Knowledge management systems in Food and beverage Industries.
        The main contribution of Jabez's research work is focused on assisting medical centers with strategic knowledge management tasks and clinical decision support, in areas related to allergy diagnosis. It involves application of computer methods and programs for medical informatics. Some of his works are based on decision theory and uncertainty modelling; these works intend to not only provide rational decisions, but also explainable knowledge. It involves development of medical decision support systems that aid  less-experienced clinicians with interpretable decision-making models.
      He started his academic career at VIT University in 2011 and then pursued full time research from 2012 onwards. He moved to National Institute of Technology-Warangal in 2016, where he served as an Adhoc Faculty for more than a year.
