Chair Session

(1) Chaired a session in the International Congress in Honour of Prof. H. M. Shrivastava on his 70th Birth Anniversary at Uludag University, Bursa, Turkey Organized by Uludag University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Mathematics during August 18-21, 2010 in Bursa, TURKEY.

(2) Chaired two sessions in the 11th International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Pure and Applied Mathematics ( ICNAAM 2013 ) during September 21-27, 2013, Rhodes, GREECE.

(3) Chaired a session at the National conference of the Academy for Progress of Mathematics on Recent Advances in Mathematical Analysis and Applications on May 8, 2022, organized by DST-Centre for Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences, Institute of Science, BHU Varanasi-221005, India.

Presentations

(1) Visited Uludag University, Bursa, TURKEY, during August 18-21, 2010, and presented a research paper entitled “n- Dimensional Sobolev type spaces involving Hankel transformation.” 
 
(2) Visited Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA during July 18-22, 2011, in and presented a poster entitled “Continuity of Hankel potential involving Hankel translation on certain ultradifferentiable function spaces.” The visit was supported by DST, Govt. of India, New- Delhi.
 
(3) Visited Rhodes, GREECE during September 21-27, 2013, and presented two research papers (a) “Image encryption using TSRMSC associated with DWT,” and (b) “The continuous fractional wave packet transform.” The visit was supported by BITS.

(4) Visited Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL, during August 01-09, 2018, and deliver a talk on "Two-stage hyper-chaotic system based image encryption in wavelet packet domain for wireless communication systems." This talk is highlighted in the ICM News. The visit was supported by both Open Arms Grants (ICM 2018) and BITS Pilani. 
 
School attended by Dr. Manish Kumar at Pisa in ITALY:
 
Dr. Manish Kumar had been invited by Prof. Stefano Marmi, the Director of the Centro De Giorgi, Pisa, ITALY, to participate in a school on Multi-scale and Multi-field Representations of Condensed Matter Behavior during November 25-29, 2013. He accepted the invitation and attended the school. The visit was supported by Centro De Giorgi, Pisa, ITALY.

Collaborative Research

Dr. Manish Kumar visited the Department of Mathematics, University of Central Florida, Orlando, USA, a premier research university located in Orlando for collaborative research during July 12-16, 2015. The purpose of Dr. Kumar's stay in Orlando was to learn new developments in image encryption and to develop new algorithms for secure image transmission that would give great value to his research in the area of image encryption.

Dr. Manish Kumar visited the Department of Mathematics, University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida, USA, for collaborative work on ”Approximation Properties of Wavelet Packets and Applications” from 27 June 2017 to 25 July 2017. This visit was funded by BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, under University Exposure Abroad Scheme.
