Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SERB-DST Sponsored Project

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by DST-SERB (CRG/2021/006784).

Title of the project: Development of Low Cost Vectorised NavIC Software Receiver for Urban  Environments.

Duration of the project: 3 years

Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000/- per month for first two years 35,000/- for third year.

Eligibility requirements: GATE qualified candidates with M.Tech/M.E./M.S in Signal Processing/ECE/Electronics Engineering/Embedded Systems/VLSI/Mirco-Electronics/RF and Microwave Communication/Digital Design or any equivalent relevant area with strong Mathematical (Linear Algebra/Probability Theory and Applied Signal Processing) and Programming (MATLAB/Python/LabView) Skills.

The GATE qualification can be relaxed for experienced and exceptional candidates.

Funded by BITS BioCyTiH Foundation Ph.D Position in Interdisciplinary Bio-Cyber Physical Systems

                                                       
Duration of PhD program: Maximum up to 5 years, subject to satisfactory progress in project and also in Ph.D. Programme.
 
Fellowship: ₹31,000 p.m. for the first two years, ₹33,000 p.m. in subsequent years. 
 
Eligibility: Minimum M.E/M.Tech with GATE Qualified in Electronics & Communication, Digital Communication, Signal Processing or an equivalent area with at least 60% marks. Strong Background in  Mathematics (Linear Algebra and Convex Optimization), MATLAB/Python, Signal Processing & 5G Communication System optimization is required. Candidates with experience in convex optimization and/or machine learning based optimization will be preferred.

Eligibility: Minimum M.E/M.Tech or M.Sc with GATE/NET Qualified in Electronics & Communication, Digital Communication, Signal Processing or an equivalent area with at least 60% marks. Strong Background in LABVIEW and or MATLAB based Signal Processing & Communication System Design is required. Candidates with design experience in using LABVIEW and SDR (NI USRP 29XX) will be preferred.
 
Fellowship: Rs 25000 pm + HRA

JRF position under Bill & Melinda Gates foundation funded project

 

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation funded research project titled ‘OPP1164132- CLOUD BASED ANALYTICS SENSOR TEST KIT FOR ADVANCED PROCESS CONTROL’.

 

Qualification: The candidate should have M.Tech or M.Sc degree (Preferably with NET/ GATE) in Industrial Automation/Communication Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering or related field with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates with prior experience in Sensor integration, Cloud Communication and LABVIEW will be preferred.

The selected candidate may be allowed to pursue the doctoral study at BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus after clearing the Institutional admission procedure.
