BOSM 2020


The 34th edition of India’s largest university-level sports gathering, BITS Open Sports Meet (BOSM) was organised by BITS Pilani from 13th September 2019 to 17th September 2019. It featured plethora of sporting contests to compete in, alongside exhibition, talks, professional shows and various other sports related events. The Department of Management is hereby pleased to announce the achievement of its MBA students in BOSM 2019.
 
BOSM 
  • Shivam Mishra won Gold Medal in 4*50 m Freestyle Relay, Gold Medal in 4 X 50 m in Medley Relay, Silver Medal in 100 m Freestyle and Bronze Medal in 50m Freestyle in Swimming.
  • Bhomendra Singh Rathore won Silver Medal as member of the Snooker team.
  • Hudai Viswanath KG got Gold Medal in 200m Freestyle Relay and Bronze Medal in 50m Medley Relay in Swimming.
The Department also congratulates Anant Singh, Rajat Sharma and Prachi for participating in basketball, badminton and table-tennis respectively.

Interface 2019

Interface is a pan India management fest organized by the institute and is the legacy event of the Department of Management, BITS Pilani. This year the 42nd edition of Interface was held on 2nd & 3rd March, 2019, which featured a total of 10 events boht offilne & online and witnessed enormous participation from top B-schools across the country. We are hereby pleased to announce the attainment of MBA Batch -
  • 'Team Miracles' (Ajo Philip John, Srutadipta Roy Choudhury & Karthick S A) came up as the Runner Up of the BID MAESTRO Event.
  • 'Team Fusion' (Shriratan Chandak, Jasmine Handa & Yashfeen Baksh) were placed 2nd in Marketing Wizard Event.
  • 'Team Miracles' (Darahaus & Karthick S A) were the Runner Up's of the Infographia Event.

The Ops-Insight Event

B-School Competitons provides opportunities to the students to not only make a mark on their CV's but to enhance their problem solving skills by working on real time cases.
 
The Ops-Insight event was held on 3rd Feb, 2019 which was organized by Opera Zeal, the operations club of IIM Amritsar as a part of their annual fest Aarunya 3.0. It was an analytics based case study competition in which students have to take a deep dive into data and crunch the data with their analytical skills using any of the advanced tools like Excel, R, Python, SPSS and present the findings and valuable insights before the judges.
 
DOM BITS Pilani would like to congratulate Sneha Sharma, Utkarsh Sharma and Ayush Singhal for securing 2nd position in the competition.

Agnitraya 5.0

Sometimes you win and sometimes you learn and things that are done with an aim of learning always yields long-term benefits, and B-School competitions provides opportunities to the students to not oly make a mark on their CV's but to enchance their problem solving skills by working on real time cases and encompasses peer learning as well through team participation.
 
A case study competition, heldby IIM Kashipur as part of their institute's annual festival Agnitraya 5.0 saw three of our students Dipti Chandra, Varsha Gupta and Sree Ranjani represent DOM, BITS PIlani at the finals of the competition after clearing two thought-constraining rounds and being shortlisted among students from several B-Schools throughout the country.

The 6th INDO-GERMAN Workshop


BITS Pilani and Technische Universitat Braunschweig, Germany conducted the 6th INDO-GERMAN workshop on "Sustainable Manufacturing & Entrepreneurship". The meet emphasized on learning factories, educating sustainability, IOT, Industry 4.0 and Entrepreneurship.
 
We are delighted to announce that after two days of hardwork Shubham Jain and Bhuwan Sangwan from DOM, BITS Pilani won the best "Startup & Business Model Innovation Competition" by showcasing their innovative plan for Sustainable Rural Healthcare.

BOSM Accolades


India's largest university-level sports gathering, the BITS Open Sports Meet (BOSM) was organized by Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani from 19th September, 2018 to 23rd September, 2018. The 33rd edition featured a total of 20 competitive sports and witnessed enormous participation from all over the country and its neighbours. We are hereby pleased to announce the attainment of MBA Batch -
  • Md. Fuaad Khan won Gold in Carrom.
  • Bhuwan Sangwan won Silver in Swimming.
  • Bhomendra Singh Rathore won Silver in Snooker.
  • Rajat Sharma won Silver in Swimming.
