Dr Harpreet Singh Bedi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani Dubai campus, United Arab Emirates. Prior to this, he worked as Research Associate for two years at Aeronautical Development Establishment, DRDO, India. He completed his PhD (2020) from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar specializing in fabrication, testing and characterization of reinforced polymer composites. He pursued his graduate and undergraduate studies at NIT Jalandhar (2014) and Punjab Technical University (2010), respectively. His research interests include nanofiller and fiber reinforced plastics, advanced composites, topology optimization and additive manufacturing. He has published more than 30 research articles in various international journals and conferences.
