Dr.V.KALAICHELVI  is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engg .at BITS PILANI, DUBAI CAMPUS. She received her Ph.D.  Degree in Instrumentation Engg  from Annamalai University in the year 2007.  She has 16 years of teaching experience in Annamalai University, India. She is working with BITS PILANI, Dubai Campus for the past 14 years.  She has taught many courses and guided many research projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students.  She has her research work published in refereed international journals and many international conferences. Her research area of expertise includes: Process Control, Control Systems, Neural Networks, Fuzzy logic and Control System Aspects applied to Robotics,Mechatronics. She has acted as an Reviewer in the international journal of intelligent and Fuzzy systems.She is  a Faculty In-charge for IFOR team  (Intelligent Flying Object for Reconnaissance) and it  is a robotics team which is involved in doing R&D in aerial robotics and she is guiding students in the area of control systems applied to robotics field

She has served as  

• Library Committee Member for EEE department(2012-2013)
• Developed course content for the elective, BITS F312 Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic
• Set up EIIT LAB EXPERIMENTS IN THE YEAR 2013,Mechatronics And Automation Lab in the year 2015
• Set up Experiments for Mechatronics & Automation Lab
•  Doctoral Research Committee 2014-2016 
• Active member in Disciplinary Committee

• One of the Program Chair for International Conference on Modelling, Simulation and Intelligent Computing (MoSICom 2020) from January 29-31 2020
