Doctoral research thesis titled “Enhancing the accuracy of Context based Recommendation System with Ontology and Fuzzy Rules.

Detailed: Builds an Ontology and Context Based Recommendation System (OCBRS) to recommend the product to the customer by evaluating the context present in the reviews with the assistance of ontology. A set of 16 fuzzy rules are formulated to support context extraction. The fuzzy rules are developed from the knowledge on writing pattern of English sentences. The system is facilitated with ontology, a hierarchical repository of contexts.

Masters research thesis titled “Finding of Interesting Association Rules from Mining by Ontology and Page Ranking”.

Detailed: Builds an interactive and iterative framework to post-process the association rules using Schemas and Ontologies. It prunes and filters the discovered association rules using domain ontology with the integration of user knowledge. Constructs a rule schema on analyzing the user behavior to improve the performance.

Bachelor’s research major thesis titled “A Proxy Assisted Adaptation Framework for Object Video Multicasting”

Detailed: Builds a proxy-assisted file delivery architecture that employs a central-server-based periodic broadcast scheme to efficiently utilize central server and network resources, while in the same time exploiting proxy servers too significantly to reduce service latency experienced by clients.

Bachelors research minor thesis titled “MOBILE MEDIA API  (MMAPI)”

Detailed: Builds an API that helps a consumer device to access time-based multimedia functionality, such as audio clips, MIDI sequences, movie, clips, and animations in small devices which is J2ME platform enabled. It has been designed to meet the stringent size requirements of small, resource-constrained devices, as well as the challenges inherent in wireless connections limited bandwidth, traffic, slow connections, and small screen resolutions.
