I have co-authored two books with Dr. S. Chandra Sekhar, a student of mine during my teaching stint at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad. These books were the outcome of the video lessons that I had prepared under the SONET programme of the State Higher Education Department. Dr. Chandra Sekhar is now a faculty member at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.
Front covers of the two books:
Published by Tata McGraw-Hill, New Delhi:
Analog Communication on December 1, 2006
Communication Theory on August 1, 2005
An international edition of this book (ISBN 9780071278782; Year 2006) from McGraw-Hill, Singapore is also available and quite a few universities in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Jordan, India and Indonesia have it in their Libraries.
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University had used this book as either the primary text book or reference book for their B. Eng. (Hons) programmes for many years.
Delhi University, Kanpur University and Alagappa University have also listed the Indian Edition of the book as a reference book for their programmes in Engineering.
