About the Faculty
Dr. Manoj Kumar Pandey is an Associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus. He has his Masters's from IIT Roorkee and Ph.D. from IIT Bombay. He has 14 years of teaching and research experience.
He was conferred the Award of Excellence in Teaching by BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus on September 5, 2022.
He was awarded Prof. Prabhulal Bhatnagar memorial prize in 2007-2008 for his outstanding performance during his Ph.D. The award, which contains a cash prize, was announced at the 46th Convocation of IIT Bombay.
As a teacher, he is involved in teaching several courses at the First degree and Dual degree levels; his main academic interests lie in Partial Differential Equations and applications. His main research interests lie in the theoretical study of hyperbolic systems of PDEs and wave propagation & interaction problems.
