Prof. Pravin has joined BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus on November 30,2005. Prof. Pravin obtained M. Tech. from IIT, Kharagpur and Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. His doctoral thesis was on "Dynamic and Vibration Response of Pulleys of a Belt Drive". Prof. Singru has more than 32 years of teaching and research experience. He teaches courses in the area of Mechanics of Solids, Kinematics and Dynamics of Machines, Vibrations. Seven research scholars has received Ph.D. under his guidance and three are pursuing their Ph.D. under his guidance. He has published 47 research papers in International Journals, 56 papers in National & International Conferences and 3 book chapters. He has got one patent granted and filed three Indian patents based on his work. He has received grants from DST and Lockheed martin Corporation, USA to conduct research. He is reviewer of several reputed International Journals and conferences.
