       Ph.D. Thesis Awarded:

1. Akanksha Saini- Thesis Title : Computation of Thermodynamic, Excess, Transport & allied Properties to study Intermolecular Interactions in binary and higher order Liquid Mixtures. Awarded in July 2017. Presently Senior Associate Regulatory Writer at Novartis.

2. Amrita Natekar Rudreshwar- Thesis Title – Molecular Interaction Studies of Liquiid Mixtures based on Thermophysical Properties. Awarded in July 2022. Presently Assistant Professor in  DMR PG College, Assagao, Goa.

 

        Ph.D. Thesis Ongoing:

1. Aditi Prabhune – Thesis Title : Study of intermolecular interactions based on thermodynamic, transport, interfacial and optical properties. Status: Submitting Soon.

 

                                      FD  Semester Projects ( Last 5 years)

      More than 50 undergraduate students had done their Study and Design Projects (  SP & DP ) in the past five years. These have resulted in publications in International Peer Reviewed journals and Paper Presentations in National and International Conferences.

     Several Students have presented their Projects and  won Prizes and Accolades in International and National Conferences and Events.

·         TADA LAHARI WON THE BEST PAPER PRESENTATION IN APOGEE 2021.

 

·         HARDIK HINGORANI AND SHASHWAT VERMA WON FIRST AND SECOND BITSAA RESEARCH AWARDS.

 

·         SANYUKTA JAIN PRESENTED HER WORK IN THERMAM 2020 IN GERMANY AND THE WORK WAS PULBISHED IN Journal of Molecular Liquids 333 (2021) 115919.

 

·         PIYASHI BISWAS DEVELOPED A VOLUME FRACTION BASED MODEL FOR VISCOSITY PREDICTION( DEY-BISWAS MODEL) WHICH WAS PRESENTED IN THERMAM 2017 IN  ROSTOCK UNIVERSITY, GERMANY AND PUBLISHED. Journal of Molecular Liquids, 265, 356-360 (2018).

·         PRAVEEN RANGNATH WON THE SECOND PRIZE IN THE RSC YOUNG RESEARCHERS MEET IN 2018.

·         AADITI BASARKAR PRESENTED HER FINDINGS IN 9TH INTL CONF. ON TECHNICAL THERMODYNAMICS IN 2021 & PAPER PUBLISHED IN 2022. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.molliq.2022.120457    ( IMPACT FACTOR- 6.63)
