In this project, an underwater acoustic modem will be developed for the shallow water UASN deployment. With two such modems, communication link will be tested between them by using a lab-based testbed set-up. Various modulation schemes, coding techniques and signal processing techniques can be tested using these modems.

Project Title - Flying Ad hoc Network for disaster rescue operations (SERB SRG/2019/001204)

During the disaster rescue operations, such as fires in building spaces or natural calamities such as floods and earthquakes, mini-UAV’s can be deployed which can fly at much lower altitudes. At times, multiple mini-UAVs are required in the network formation for improving capabilities, reducing completion time of mission, and for allowing sharing of tasks among themselves. In this project, an autonomous network of multiple mini-UAVs will be deployed for an example of disaster rescue operations.
