I am interested in doing research in the field of theoretical and computational condensed matter physics. Following are some of my current research areas:

Quantum ab-initio theory for real materials
Low dimensional materials such as 1D nanotube, nanoribbons, nanocoils and 2D sheets of layered materials.
Electronic structure calculation.
Electronic, transport, structural and vibrational properties of materials.
Tuning of properties of materials.
Theory of defects, impurities and doping of bulk and low dimensional materials.
Code development: First principles based phase field model.
