The current research interests are in areas of 'Disaster Studies' and 'Science and Technology Studies'. Within these broad areas, I have interest in Public Understanding of Science, Disaster and Development, Climate Science, Politics of Risk, Disaster Management Plans and Practices etc. 

The research team at BITS comprises three highly motivated PhD Research Scholars: Md. Shahid Akhther; Apurba Raychoudhury and CVHS Sai Ram.
