Ph.D. (Water Resources Engineering) in Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in August 1996 under the guidance of Prof C.R.S.Pillai. The study title is ‘Studies on Multicriterion Decision Making Methods and Management of Irrigation Systems (Experts appreciate the dissertation as a contribution to the field of multicriterion decision making).
