Suchismita Satpathy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Science, at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. She has been a visiting faculty at the Centre for Public Policy and Governance at TISS Hyderabad RM campus during June 2016- April 2017. Apart from this, she was associated with the UGC e-pg pathshala Philosophy project, Department of Philosophy, University of Hyderabad. It produces online course material for the M.A. Philosophy students. Her interest lies in various aspects of urban sociology.
