My research interests are Renewable energy sources. I worked onsolar energy in the Center for Renewable Energy and Environment Development (CREED). I have also worked on Earth air tunnel heat exchanger for winter heating (geothermal energy). I also served as faculty in JECRC and KITE, Sitapura, Jaipur before joining BITS.  | Mr. Nikhil Gakkhar I have done my PhD in the area of Solar Thermal Distillation in the Center for Renewable Energy and Environment Development (CREED). I did my Bachelors of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa campus in the year 2009 and Masters of Engineering from BITS Pilani, Rajasthan in the year 2012. My ME Dissertation topic was Techno-Economic Parametric Assessment of Solar Power in India. My professional interest lies in the field of solar energy, heat transfer and Concentrated Solar Power (CSP). Based on my research projects, I have presented three papers in international conferences and two papers in national conferences, as of December 2013. At present I am working as Scientist in Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. |

I have completed my MSQM and BS Power Engg from BITS ,Pilani. Since 29 years I am serving in Power Distribution Sector. Currently as CEO at BEDCPL, Bhagalpur. Earlier as Unit Head, Crompton Greaves Ltd, Jalgaon; NDPL,Delhi; BES&T, Mumbai; Kanti cables,Dhule; Chhabi Electricals, Jalgaon and Dhule Textile Mills,Dhule. Faculty of Safety Training. Achieved Gold medal in Business Excellence Leadership Programme conducted by TQMS, Pune. At present I am working as Chief Operating Officer /Deputy Managing Director of Kano Electricity Distribution Company, Kano State, Nigeria. |

 | Mr. Sunil Baloda I have completed my PhD in the area of Solar Thermal Hybrid Technologies in the Center for Renewable Energy and Environmental Development (CREED) of BITS Pilani. I did my M. Tech. from NIT Hamirpur (H.P.) in Thermal Engineering specialization with Computational Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer in the year 2012. My M. Tech. Dissertation topic was Design, construction and performance investigation of an indirect solar dryer integrated with solar collector. Based on my research project, I have published three papers in international Journals, as of December 2013. My professional interest lies in the field of solar energy, heat transfer and Concentrated Solar Power (CSP). Currently I am working as Assistant Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering at BRCM CET Bahal, (Haryana). |
