Saiyedul Islam is a TCS Research Scholar and is pursuing Ph.D. under joint supervision of Prof. Navneet Goyal (BITS Pilani) and Dr. Prakash Raghavendra (AMD, Bangalore). Title of his thesis is, "A Pattern-based Framework for Automatic Parallelization of Clustering Algorithms". He has been associated with DeitY funded project - "A New Distributed Computing Framework for Data Mining" since January 2012 and was M.E. Project Fellow in the same for the period of Jan 2013 to June 2013. He works closely with Prof. Sundar Balasubramaniam.
