The Centre is conceived with an objective of laying foundations for
encouraging, motivating, and inspiring women entrepreneurs, especially
at BITS Pilani to realize their startup dreams. Funded by Raghu
Sethuraman, a BITS alumnus from the 1992 batch, the Centre envisions
being a catalyst and proliferating startup activities on all BITS campuses
and beyond.

Mission
Motivate, encourage, and provide a platform for BITSian women enabling them to transform their ideas into successful ventures.
Key Activities
- Startup programs encouraging women led start-ups by students and alumni
- Run a women-led start up cohorts every year with seed funding for idea stage startups in physical and virtual mode
- Deep 1-1 mentoring to young women entrepreneurs by accomplished leaders
- A platform and spaces in campuses for innovation to thrive amongst women, with help from partner organizations and incubators
- Periodical interactions on-campus / on-line by women role models to share their experience and wisdom in order to attract, develop, and connect future entrepreneurs
- Workshops, trainings, and curriculum tailored to address barriers in terms of behavior and skills
Looking to get involved?
We are currently looking to onboard coaches and mentors for women-led startups. We are looking for mentors who can work with our students on business and technical aspects of a startup, as well as on startup careers.
