Current Research

I am working on the following problems:
 
  • Alternating iterative schemes for singular and non singular systems.
  • Numerical solution of  multilinear system based on different tensors. 
  • Application of machine learning models to other domain such as finance, mental health data, etc.

JRF Position

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Mathematics at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, Goa, for a SERB-SURE sponsored research project titled “Developing efficient methods for approximating generalized inverses of tensors and solving multilinear systems (SUR/2022/004357)”. 
 

Eligibility: Candidates must have a post-graduate degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with first class (or at least CGPA 6.5). The candidates should have an excellent academic background with sound knowledge in Linear Algebra and Numerical Analysis. Knowledge of mathematical software such as MATLAB/ MATHEMATICA, etc., will be desirable. Preference will be given to the NET/GATE-qualified candidate. 

 
Deadline: The application process is closed.
 
The interview process is delayed due to an increase in the fellowship. I will confirm the date only after the new sanction letter from the SERB.
