Looking for candidates with independent fellowship (CSIR/UGC/DBT NET) to immediately start work on a project involving proteins from horse shoe crab and their effect on biofilms and cancer cell lines. Apply at sumit@goa.bits-pilani.ac.in
How does a bacterium sense environmental signals? What relays such signals to the effector molecules? How does the cell handle these information to generate a response? What are the regulators of such responses? Where are they located? How does a universal molecule dictate specific signalling? If these questions interest you, our lab is the place to be!!! Young and happening with lots of avenues for international exposures, we try and answer such questions using molecular biology and crystallography techniques. Do drop in a mail to sumit@goa.bits-pilani.ac.in to know more :D
If that doesn't seem great, we are also into natural therapeutics. Having already targetted some leaf proteins of the drumstick tree and showed their efficacy in lowering serum creatinine, we are interested in doing more. You are invited to work on the project, "Complete Screening of Moringa oleifera leaf for therapeutic applications". Just drop a mail with your CVs to my e-mail id., with Moringa as the subject.
And of course, candidates with independent fellowships or RAships are invited to work on the project, "Tissue based Identification of Signatures in microRNA associated with cancer". Interested candidates may submit their CVs to sumit@goa.bits-pilani.ac.in. It is desirable that the candidate should have some knowledge of use machine learning applications.
