 Thrust areas: The research in our group is focused on development and miniaturization of various biosensor platforms with applications in environmental and clinical analysis.

 The key areas of research are:

  • Transducers: Thermal,Optical, Electrochemical and piezo (QCM)
  • Field portable biosensors and micro devices
  • Receptors (natural and artificial receptors): Aptamers, antibodies, enzymes, Imprinted polymers
  • Bio-chip based biosensors (Bio-MEMS)
  • Novel sensing systems for multianalyte analysis
  • Micro fluidics for chemical and biological applications
