Thrust areas: The research in our group is focused on development and miniaturization of various biosensor platforms with applications in food safety & quality, environmental and clinical analysis, Bio-Cyber Physical Systems under NM-ICPS

 The key areas of research are:

  • Transducers: Optical, Electrochemical and piezo (QCM), thermal
  • Field portable biosensors and micro devices
  • Receptors (natural and artificial receptors): antibodies, enzymes, Aptamers,Imprinted polymers
  • Bio-chip based biosensors (Bio-MEMS)
  • High Throughput high sensitivity analysis
  • Micro fluidics for chemical and biological applications
