Title of the research work: Formulation of bio-functionalized cosmetic emulsions using bio-surfactant and essential oil as green ingredients.

Short BioMy PhD thesis deals with formulation of stable Nano-emulsion using Bio originated ingredients like Microbial originated surfactant (surfactin), plant and microbial originated oil (base oil, essential oil, algae oil), microbial and plant originated thickener (Bio-polymer, guar gum) to serve cosmetic purpose. My Research includes Production of surfactin, optimizing process parameter for production of surfactin using RSM, Purification of surfactin, identifying compounds to formulate Nanoemulsion, optimize parameter and efficacy test against formulated emulsion.
I am an independent women traveller who participates in real life adventure games, trekker, Gym addict, Dead weight lifter, Classical dancer, abstract painter and Tamil poem writer. Listening to audio novels, doing research on Historical things, indoor Gardening lifts up my mood always. Apart from this, Am an active member in Rotract and Blue-cross.

Title of research work: Process improvement in Urakkh and Feni Production 
Short Bio: I am working on the Comprehensive investigation on Feni production from cashew apple and strategic utilization of residual pulp waste to generate value-added products under the guidance of Prof. Sampatrao D. Manjare and Dr. Vivek Rangarajan. The Objectives of the Proposed Research include Development of suitable extraction process of cashew apple juice and optimize the fermentation and distillation process for the improved yield.
 My hobbies and interests apart from research include travelling and Blog writing. I hold an NCC ‘B’ Certificate adding to my credit. I have research Publications in reputed journals and have presented research outputs at numerous national and international conferences and
seminars.
