Presented a paper titled “Environmental Justice and Ecological Alternatives” at the 26th International Political Science Association (IPSA) World Congress of Political Science held virtually from 10th to 15th July, 2021.
Presented a paper titled “Who Wants to Conserve the Western Ghats? The Politics of Conflict and Conservation in Idukki district, Kerala” at the 7th International Degrowth and 16th ISEE Joint Conference on Building Alternative Livelihoods in times of ecological and political crisis hosted by The University of Manchester from 5th of 8th July, 2021

Presented a paper titled “A Search for Ecological Alternatives: A Case Study of the Politics of Water and Scarcity in Andhra Pradesh, India” at the International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC) 2021 - Water Commons Virtual Conference hosted by Arizona State University, USA from May 19 to May 21st, 2021

Presented a paper titled “The Political Economy of Decentralisation and Forest Resource Management (FRM): A Study of the Effectiveness of Decentralised FRM Institutions” at the Asia Region Biennial International Association Study of the Commons Conference on “Redefining Diversity and Dynamism of Natural Resource Management in Asia”, on 13-16, July, 2018, AIT, Thailand.

Presented a paper titled “Ecological Romanticism and Farmer’s Protest in Tamil Nadu, India: The Bull and The River” at the international conference on Authoritarian Populism and the Rural World, on 17-18 March, 2018. The conference was organized by Emancipatory Rural Politics Initiative (ERPI) at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University, The Hague.

Presented a paper titled “Social Resilience: The Role of Local Institutions in Addressing Vulnerability in Times of Crisis in the Context of the COVID Pandemic” at the International Webinar on Rethinking the Role of Local Governments in a Post Covid-19 World organized by the Centre for Gandhian Studies, Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, Kerala (India) & Centre for Rural Management (CRM), Kottayam, Kerala (India) from December 10 to 14, 2020.
Presented a paper titled “A Search for Ecological Alternatives: A Case Study of the Politics of Water and Scarcity in Andhra Pradesh, India” at the conference on Collective Action in The 21st Century: Reimagining The Public And The State organized by the Department of International Relations and Governance Studies, Shiv Nadar University from 21st to 23rd October 2020.
Was an invited Panelist on the theme "The Environment & the Indian Constitution" at NALSAR, Hyderabad on 4th March, 2020 and presented a paper on “Environmental Justice: A Political Ecology Perspective” for the NALSAR Lecture Series on Constitutionalism
Presented a paper titled Who Wants to Conserve the Western Ghats? A Study of Resistance to Conservation and its Undercurrents in Karunapuram panchayat, within the Cardamom Hill Reserve in Idukki district at the Research Unit on Local Self-Government Seminar at The Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on 25th November 2019.

Presented a paper titled Alternative ways of understanding ecological conservation practices to enable environmental justice for all at the INSEE-CESS International Conference on Climate Change and Disasters: Challenges, Opportunities and Responses, the Tenth Biennial Conference of the Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE) held from 6-8 November 2019 at the Centre for Economic and Social Studies, Hyderabad

Invited to deliver a lecture on “Literature Review for Dissertation writing” by Tata Institute for Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad on 11th March, 2021 

Delivered a lecture on “Political ecology and environmental law: Approaches for Teaching and Research” as part of the panel on “Multidisciplinary methodology in the teaching and research of Environmental Law” for the Strengthening Capacity for Environmental Law in the Asia-Pacific Developing Environmental Law Champions-Train-the-Trainers Program, India from 22ndto 28th November 2020 hosted by the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi, India and GNLU Centre for Environment, Sustainable Development and Climate Change, Gujarat National Law University, Gujarat.


Invited speaker for a Webinar panel on “The draft EIA Notification 2020” held on 23rd Oct, 2020 by the Center for Development Studies (CDS), Kerala.

Was an invited speaker on the panel on "The Environment & the Indian Constitution" at NALSAR, Hyderabad on 4th March, 2020 and spoke on the topic “Environmental Justice: A Political Ecology Perspective”

Delivered a Seminar series of 10 lectures at NALSAR University of Law on the topic ‘Political Ecology' to LLB students both in 2019 and 2020

Invited to deliver a lecture on ‘Strategies to improve the political participation of women in local, district, and state levels’ by the Planning Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh and National Foundation for India who co-hosted a conclave on “Improving economic participation of women in Andhra Pradesh: Towards achieving SDG 5”, on 19th and 20th of December 2018, at Hotel Fortune Murali Park, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

Was invited as a resource person to the Urban Action School on ‘Urban Commons and Right to the City’ on the 25th of November, 2018 organized by Action Aid at the Institute of Public Enterprises, Osmania University, Hyderabad. I conducted a one-day session on ‘Urban Political Ecology: Disasters and Development’.

Invited by the Centre for Development Studies, Thiruvananthapuram to speak at the national seminar on “Persisting Pollution in Periyar: Industrialisation and Limits to Environmental Governance” held on 12th Nov, 2018.
Was invited by the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad to conduct a two-day workshop on ‘Research Design’ for their LLM and PhD students. The workshop was held on the 26th and 27th of Oct, 2018.

Was invited by the Department of Political Science, Hyderabad Central University to deliver a lecture on ‘Environmental Resource Governance’ on 11th September, 2018

Was invited by the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA) to be a part of the National Conference on ‘Twenty-Five years of Panchayati Raj’ held on 24th and 25th April 2018 in Trivandrum, Kerala. 

Was invited to deliver a talk on ‘Understanding Decentralisation Through a Natural Resource Lens: A Study in The State of Tamil Nadu, India’, on 6th April, 2018 at IIT Hyderabad to the Department of Liberal Arts.
