R Raghunathan joined the Department of Management at BITS Pilani Pilani Campus in 1998. He has served twenty years as a faculty member at the Department of Management, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. Since December 2019 he is associated with the Department of Economics & Finance, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
Over twenty-five years he has been teaching full-time students, executives, and working professionals in the discipline of Management, Engineering, Science, and Healthcare Management.
He is passionate about teaching and hence deliberately choose to teach several management courses. He has been identified as one of “The top 50 Flipped Learning Leaders in Higher Education Worldwide” by Flipped Learning Global Initiative (FLGI), he has featured in their Annual List 2018 "100+ GLOBAL FLIPPED LEADERS TO LEARN FROM"(https://flr.flglobal.org/100-global-flipped-leaders-to-learn-from/). He has been part of the institutional building at BITS Pilani. In his tenure, he had served in several committees and task forces at the department, campus, and institute-wide levels, serving across academic, research, university strategic planning, recruitment, training programs, teaching workshops, etc.
