  • Recently our collaborator Dr. Didier Sebilleau, a CNRS Full time Researcher, visited BITS, Pilani to work with me during Oct. and Nov. 2018 and 2019.  His visit was supported by CNRS and University of Rennes 1.
  • In the FP7-IRSES-MsNano project, we have hosted Dr. Sebilleau in Pilani during August, 2013 as a Marie Curie Reseacher.  Dr. Sebilleau also visited Pilani for 4 more month during 2014 and 2016.  He was the Coordinator of the Network.  During his visits, we worked on the Work Package on Impact Spectroscopy within Multiple scattering platform.
Apart from working with me on our common research problem of the MsNano network, he contributed to the Institute in the following
    way:
    • delivering a series of lectures on the Multiple Scattering to the Faculty and PhD students of the Physics Department.
    • delivering a lecture on the application of various spectroscopies to different fields in the Workshop and training on Current Research Trends in Condensed Matter-Material Science organized by the Physics Department during 7 - 8 March 2014.
    • delivering a talk on conceiving and operating the International Research Staff Exchange Scheme (IRSES) type network (new name: RISE), individual post doctoral fellowship and other opportunities for the benefit of faculties and students. In this lecture he highlighted about his ongoing collaborative project in the MsNano network within the perspective of potential opportunities for the faculties and students of BITS, particularly in forming multi-lateral research network like MsNano. He also elaborated on various essential parts in the network including forming the partners, writing the proposal, the work package part and related administrative formalities etc.   The talk was arranged by the International Programmes and Collaboration divison of Pilani campus.
