1. I worked as a Convener and Local Chairman in the DST-SERC School on Theoretical Techniques in Atomic and Molecular Collision Physics at BITS, Pilani during 10-28 January 2011*.

2.  As a HoD and chairman, I took leadership in organizing following three online talk series by Physics Department, BITS, Pilani, Pilani Campus:
(i) Online Colloquium Series 2020-21 during March-May 2021 in which 6 leading experts from India and abroad delivered popular level talks in online mode.

(ii) BITS Alumni Colloquium 2021 during Oct.-Dec. 2021 and 6 leading alumni from academia from India and abroad delivered popular level talks.

(iii) Online Colloquium Series 'Nobel Talk' during March-May 2022. 5 leading experts from India delivered talks related to Nobel Prize in Physics in the last one decade

*Brief Report:

I, as a Convener and Local Chairperson, conducted a DST-SERC School on Theoretical Techniques in Atomic and Molecular Collision Physics at BITS, Pilani during 10-28 January 2011 which was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, through its the then Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC). The main objective of this school was to acquaint the participating students with the current theoretical and computational techniques used in Atomic and Molecular collision Physics, to motivate them to join research and to raise their academic standards in the field. Prof. P.C. Deshmukh, IIT, Mandi, delivered the inaugural address entitled “An Odyssey in Atomic Physics”. The School was attended by 35 Post-Doctoral Fellows, Ph.D. and M. Sc. Students from all over the country. There were 10 resource persons drawn from highly reputed institutes like IIT, Roorkee; IIT, Mandi; IIT, Chennai; PRL, Ahmedabad; TIFR, Mumbai; BITS, Pilani; IACS, Kolkata; IISER, Kolkata and University of Birmnigham (UK). They conducted 100 hours lectures and tutorials during the short span of the School. The students were exposed to important topics of Atomic Collision Physics

. Atomic structure calculations, Photoionization of atomic systems, Electron-atom collisions, Ion-atom collisions, Collisions involving exotic particles, Ultracold atoms and Bose-Einstein condensation as well as Atomic data and Plasma diagnostics. The outcome of the School lectures was published by Narosa Publishing House, New Delhi in a Book entitled “Atomic and Molecular Physics-Introduction to Advanced Topics” and edited by R. Srivastava and R. Choubisa.viz
