Dasgupta, Department of Mechanical Engineering, was given the best paper award in January 2016 for his paper titled “Smart Control of Electric Lamp using Artificial Intelligence based Controller” at the 12th IEEE India International Conference Electronics, Energy, Environment, Communication, Computer, Control, (E3-C3) held at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, during December 17-20, 2015.
