Following are the Integrated First Degree (FD) Programmes:

  • B.E. (Hons.) Electrical & Electronics Engineering (since 2004)
  • B.E. (Hons.) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (since 2004)
  • B.E. (Hons.) Electronics & Communication Engineering                       (w.e.f academic year 2017-18)

Following Higher Degree (HD) Programmes were progressively introduced:

  • M.E. Embedded Systems (since 2009)
  • M.E. Microelectronics (since 2010)

Following are the Doctoral Programmes offered:

  • Ph.D Full-time (since 2004)
  • Ph.D Part-time (since 2015)

The curriculum for above programmes is regularly updated through comprehensive processes involving faculty from Departments in Campuses at Goa, Pilani, Hyderabad and Dubai. Also, regular interaction with industry experts for effective upgrading of curriculum is undertaken. Students of all programmes are encouraged to participate in industry related projects, under the supervision of faculty of the Department. Many students have availed collaborative arrangements with Industries and/or Research Institutes in India and/or abroad.

Ongoing research is in the areas of Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Communication Engineering, Power Systems & Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Embedded Systems, Microelectronics, VLSI Design & Architecture and Digital Signal Processing. Department also undertakes various research projects sponsored by Government or Industry.
