Engage' 20
We are excited to announce to you that the BITS alumni meetup Engage’20 will be held in March 2020. Engage’20 aims to provide a platform to network and connect with other fellow BITSians. This event hopes to continue the tradition of bridging the Alma Mater and the Alumni community together. The event is set to witness a mass gathering of BITS alumni from varied backgrounds and will provide you all the right opportunities to expand your knowledge and network. We hope to be able to remind the alumni of their days at university, and use their stories as an inspiration to our students, who are just making their way into the corporate world.
The evening will consist of a panel discussion with esteemed guests and will also be complemented by performances of our students. An evening spent among friends and great company is not something to be missed! The meet up will take you down the memory lane and definitely be a rememberable one.

Engage'18
ENGAGE’18 was organized at Dubai campus on 8th December 2018. It was an alumni meetup which focused on providing alumni a platform to network and interact with each other along with a walk down the memory lane. The event was organized by the Alumni Relations Division in collaboration with BITSAA Middle East. The event saw an enthusiastic participation from alumni residing in UAE. The event began with address by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Souvik Bhattacharyya who presented the growth of Alumni network and BITS over the years. He emphasized on encouraging the collaboration between alumni and BITS Pilani, to achieve greater heights. He highlighted the new initiative, ALMACONNECT which is a virtual platform, made available for alumni to connect and network. Prof. R.N Saha, Director, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus, addressed the gathering with details on the achievements of the BITS Pilani Dubai Campus students. He briefed the numerous ways in which alumni can play a key role in enhancing the University on all aspects. He supported it by stating a possible chance of stopover at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus, for the alumni travelling through UAE. Further, Prof. Arya Kumar, Dean Alumni Relations, elaborated on the contribution of Alumni and their primal role in sustaining the development of the University. Ms. Sandhya Prakash, Chairperson, BITSAA International, focused on the various contributions and initiatives taken by alumni and detailed on some of her projects like the BITS peacock which aided the growth in numbers of peacocks in the Pilani Campus from 20 to 100 pairs over the period. Mr Sharma, an alumnus from Pilani campus and the Managing Director at Techmart World highlighted the need for research to stimulate the growth of the university and also elaborated on it by painting a bigger and global picture. The gathering witnessed the release of the Naming Rights Policy by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Souvik Bhattacharyya, Ms. Sandhya Prakash, Chairperson, BITSAA International, Prof. R.N Saha, Director, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus and Prof. Arya Kumar, Dean Alumni Relations. Light music and dance came in as ice breakers for the event. Some of the talented alumni participated in singing and later shared some experiences at BITS. The narration of their experiences, from their college days kept the audience rolling in their chairs. The success of the event is to be accorded to the team, faculty, BITSAA and many individuals who helped in making this event successful.
