Details: Karun Jose received his degree in MSc Remote sensing and GIS from Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies in the year 2020. He completed his MSc dissertation from Space Application Centre, ISRO, Ahmedabad. Mr Karun Jose has joined as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, BITS Pilani, K.K Birla, Goa Campus in March 2021. Currently he is doing his PhD on the topic Monitoring impact of climate change on forest ecosystem using PhenoCam network. Karun has been awarded DST-INSPIRE Fellow.

Ashutosh Kulkarni (Nehru-Grimsson fellow, 2021)

Details: Ashutosh works on 'Assessing the Impact of Climate change on mountain communities in Spiti Basin'. He closely works in collaboration with the Space Application Centre of ISRO. Ashutosh is recently awarded the Nehru-Grimsson Fellowship for the purposes of seeking training in glaciology or related fields of science at the University of Iceland in the spring of 2022.

Details: Aritra Bandopadhyay received his degree in Integrated M.Tech in Geoinformatics from Central University of Jharkhand in the year 2021. He has completed his M.Tech dissertation from Indian Institute of Tropical meteorology, Pune. Aritra has done research internships in institutions like CMPDI, NIT Durgapur, and IITM Pune. Mr. Aritra Bandopadhyay has joined as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, BITS Pilani, K.K Birla, Goa Campus in May 2022 under IDDRI sponsored project.

Details: Arya is working as Junior Research Fellow at the Climate Change and Ecology lab of the HSS Department. Her research interests include Natural Hazards, Climate change, remote sensing, and GIS. She pursued post-graduation (MSc) in disaster management, and her work focuses on increasing natural hazard risk under changing climate scenarios.
