PhD Students currently working with Professor Anshuman Dalvi 
 
  
(i) Gurpreet Kaur  (in association with Prof. S C Sivasubramanian, department of chemistry) is M Sc in chemistry. Joined in August, 2018. She is working on some aspects of sol-gel derived fast ionic compounds viz. Garnet, NASICONs and glasses and their applications in all-solid-state batteries and supercapacitors.
 
(ii) Shrishti Sharma did her M Sc in physics from Vanasthali Vidyapeeth in 2019. She has joined in January 2020. She is working in DST SERB core research grant project of Prof Dalvi.  Her work is on some aspects of fabrication and characterization of solid state supercapacitors based on NASICON-polymer hybrids.
 
(iii) Neha Narwal did her M Sc in physics from MD University in 2018. She joined the group in April 2021and working on development of NASICON-polymer hybrids for all-solid state Na+ ion supercapacitor applications.
 
 (iv) Bhargab Sharma did his M Sc in Physics from Cotton University, Assam in 2022 October. He joined the group in January, 2023 to work on ionic liquid based composites for energy storage applications.

(i) Dr. M. Dinachandra Singh (2017-2022)  is from Manipur. He did is B. Sc. and M. Sc. from Pune University Fergusson College. He joined in January 2017 and  worked on some aspects of conductivity structure correlation in Na+ and Li+ ion conducting in polymer nanocomposites in  DAE CSR project. He also explored applications in Na+ and Li+ ion solid state supercapacitors. Defended thesis successfully on 7th of January 2022.

 (ii) Dr. Neelakshi Sharma (2016-21)  joined in August 2016 and defended her PhD thesis on 22nd February, 2021. 
Title of thesis: Development of Li+-NASICON based Glass-Ceramic Composites: Novel Synthesis Route, Characterization and Applications  (DST-SERB project supported work). She also qualified CSIR SRF.

(iii) Dr. Rajinder Kaswan-Shivran (2014-20)  (in association with Prof. S C Sivasubramanian, department of chemistry BITS Pilani)  
 
 Thesis Title:"Silica Gel based Li+ ion solid electrolytes: Studies on structure, electrical transport and supercapacitance"
 
She worked on ionic liquid confinement in ionic glasses by sol-gel route. Further also explored applications of these fast ionic composites in all-solid-state supercapacitors

(iv) Dr. Munesh Rathore (2010-15 )
 
 ( First Appointment after PhD: Assistant Professor in Amity University, Jaipur, September, 2015)
Thesis title:  "Assessment of electrical conductivity-structure correlation in Li+ ion conducting oxide glasses and glass-ceramic nano composites"
 
Munesh did her M Sc hons. from BITS, Pilani and was working with me for last 5 years. She has acquired expertise in various techniques, viz. impedance spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, scanning electron microscopy and FT-IR. Her work is mainly on preparation of Li+ ion conducting glass-ceramic composites by controlled crystallization and their characterization. She has a fine experimental hand and now in teaching and research.

(v) Dr. Neha Gupta (2007-2012)
 
(working as a scientific officer in Applied Materials, USA company at Mumbai) 
 
 Title "Thermal stability investigations on Ag+ ion conducting superionic glasses and glass ceramic nanocomposites" 
 
Neha is my first PhD student. She is M Sc and M phil from DAVV School of Physics. She has published several papers in journals of high impact factors, and has done a very important fundamental work on thermal stability issues of superionic glasses and helped me in setting-up the laboratory.
