Dr. Gomathi Bhavani Rajagopalan has over 27 years of teaching experience which also includes 23 years at BITS, Pilani, Dubai Campus (since its inception) and has taught several courses in electrical, electronics and computer engineering.
She earned her B.E degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai Kamarajar University as class topper with 1st class with distinction.
She did her masters in Electronics and Control specialization and her Ph.D thesis is entitled, "Intelligent Simulation Model for Energy Saving Integrated Lighting Schemes In Buildings" and the degree awarded from BITS Pilani, Rajasthan.
Her research interests include varied and inter-disciplinary topics such as Renewable Energy, Power system analysis and simulation, Intelligent control, Green buildings, Daylighting systems, Lighting simulation and Cognitive radio systems .
She was the Reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics-Part A: Systems and Humans and she has her research work published in refereed journals and many international conferences.
She is currently serving as Faculty-in-charge, Career Services. Her present responsibilities also include:
