Every major seat of learning and education across the world is engaged in activities beyond the classroom and work towards becoming powerhouses of research and innovation. Students and faculty from various departments work in collaboration with each other and with the government and industry to carry out research in various areas. We, at the BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus are engaged in several such programmes through centres instituted for the purpose.

The centre for excellence in water resources management (CEWRM) was initiated with the vision of becoming a centre for innovation in sustainable research, education and training in water resources management and allied fields.  

It was established as an initiative of the BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus in 2010 as national/ regional/ international centre to provide innovation in sustainable research, education and training in water resources management and allied fields.
