M.E. Manufacturing Systems Engineering

M.E Manufacturing Systems Engineering at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus is a four-semester program that focuses on the advanced concepts in Manufacturing Systems and Engineering.  The program offers a range of core courses including Flexible Manufacturing System, Mechanism and Robotics, Quality Control Assurance and Reliability, Supply Chain Management, and World Class Manufacturing. Besides core courses, the program offers an extensive list of elective courses depending upon the interest of the individuals (a detailed list of all courses is provided in the course brochure). In addition, the curriculum includes a design project that gives an opportunity to design, develop and construct hands-on solutions to a problem thereby, leading to a clear understanding of a state-of-the-art topic.
 
Product manufacturing demands the integration of traditional and non-traditional systems with knowledge of the properties and working conditions of various materials. Globalization has further introduced stringent and competitive standards in terms of quality and reliability. M.E. Manufacturing Systems Engineering program at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus is designed for highly driven and ambitious individuals who wish to develop their knowledge to address these modern challenges in the advanced area of Manufacturing Systems. Individuals get exposed to advanced laboratories in-house at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus. During the course, individuals enjoy the possibility of interacting with faculties from diverse walks of expertise, thereby nurturing an overall picture of the contemporary Manufacturing Engineering environment. 
 
With the enormous experience in building pedagogical structure and delivering academic excellence, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus is set to introduce the M.E. Manufacturing Systems Engineering program. We endeavour to provide individual-specific guidance to students in order to develop job-oriented skills, the capability to solve novel industrial challenges as well as motivate a research-oriented outlook. BITS Pilani enjoys a deep academic-industry relationship as evident from the high placement percentage in M.E. programs in the Mechanical Engineering Department. Owing to our deep industrial association, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus offers an exclusive six-month practice school session where individuals can access onsite industrial internships with a high probability of them being offered a direct placement.
