  • Ms. Srividya Gorantla, Ph.D. Scholar working with Dr. Gautam Singhvi and Prof. Ranendra N Saha, received the "Research Award 2021-22"- Winner Position under Jeevenam Category in the '22nd Annual Science Awards and Memorial Oration Function of Dr. K. V. Rao Scientific Society' for presenting the Research work.
  • Mr. Saibhargav Narisepalli, PhD scholar working with Prof. Anupama Mittal has been received the Best poster award (CATEGORY: Nanotechnology and Drug targeting) for presenting his research paper titled “Asiaticoside Nanoparticles for Effective Healing of Diabetic Wounds Through Increased Collagen Biosynthesis: In-vitro and In-vivo evaluation” by Manipal Pharmaceutics Conference 2022 (MPCON) at MCOPS, MAHE Manipal between 22-24 September 2022.
  • Ms. Nisha Yadav (DST INSPIRE scholar), Ms. Sakshi Jagetiya (M. Pharm. 2nd Year) working with Prof. Paul Atish Tulshiram were awarded 3rd prize for “Best Poster Presentation”  for their research on discovery of natural product based potential pancreatic lipase inhibitors at the National Symposium on "Integration of AYUSH Medicines and Ethnopharmacology: A Strategy towards Evidence-based Medicines”. The symposium was organized in collaboration with Society for Ethnopharmacology (SFE) India at NIPER, S.A.S Nagar (Punjab) on 4th October 2022.

  • Mr. K.V.Krishna (Ph.D. Research Scholar) working with Dr Dubey and Prof Saha  has received "CSIR Foreign Travel Grant" for attending 6th Asia-Pacific Congress of Interventional Oncology,  held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 02-05 October 2019 
  • Mr. Kishan S Italitya (Ph.D. Research Scholar) working with Dr Anupama Mittal has received "International Travel support" from DST for attending AAPS 2019 PharmSci360 to be held at Texas, USA.

  • M. Pharm II semester students, Beulah V (Pharmaceutics), Faheem (Pharmaceutical Chemistry), Arisha Mahmood (General Pharmacy) received the TATA Trust's Medical and Healthcare scholarship for the academic year 2018- 2019 from SIR DORABJI TATA trust.
  • Miss Arisha Mahmood (M.Pharm, II semester ) won the best individual speaker prize at intercollege debate competition 2018-19 organized by Sentiss Pharma at NIPER, Mohali on 18th March 2019 on the topic, "Is Indian Pharma industry capable enough to ensure USFDA regulatory compliance."
  • 02 B.Pharm (3rd year) students offered 2019 Mitacs Globalink Internship in Canada

    1) Srinivash M: Université de Montréal, Montréal, under the guidance of Prof. Nathalie Grandvaux on the project entitled, "Characterization of regulatory mechanisms of the antiviral response as potential therapeutic targets."

    2) Shreemoyee Ghosh: University of British Columbia, Vancouver under the guidance of Prof. Shyh-Dar Li on the project entitled, "Modulating immune response in tumours via nanoparticle drug delivery."

    The scholarship covers airfare, visa fee, medical insurance and a weekly stipend of Canadian $ 410 for a duration of 12 weeks.

  • Mr. Siddharth Uppal, B. Pharm student (4th year) has been selected to pursue his Thesis (Honors) at Mechanobiology Institute, National University of Singapore (NUS) in Prof. Hanry Yu's lab on "Understanding Mechanobiology of cells in response to topographical cues". He will be getting a monthly stipend of 1000S$ for his contribution to their research group.
  • Mr. Siddharth Uppal, B. Pharm student (4th year) receives Institute Merit Scholarship (40% of academic tuition fee waiver) granted to only top 2% students of the whole batch (~900 students)
  • Mr. S N C Sridhar (PhD research scholar working under the supervision of Dr. Atish Paul) has been awarded the “Dr.Shyambalaji Achuthan Award for Excellence in the field of Pharmacology” for his research work entitled “Conophylline - A Potential Pancreatic Lipase Inhibitory Lead from Tabernaemontana divaricata: In silico, Synthesis and In vitro Studies” at the 1st National Biomedical Research Competition (NBRCOM-2018), held at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh on October 15, 2018. He has also received 10th prize in Poster session under the category of AYUSH for this topic.
  • Mr. Shakti Nagpal (M. Pharm 4th SEM, Pharmaceutics) received Best oral presentation award in the 2nd National Conference of Advanced Institute of Pharmacy (NCAIP-2018) on "Challenges of Drug Development and Regulations in a Global Environment" on April 14th, 2018.
  • Mr. Siddharth Uppal (B.Pharm, 3rd year) has been selected for the prestigious Khorana Program for Scholars 2018.
  • Mr. Italiya Kishan S. (PhD research scholar) has recently received DST INSPIRE fellowship for the project entitled, "Nano-formulation of Hydrophobic Conjugate of Lysofylline for Effective Treatment of Diabetes”
  • Mr. K.V. Krishna (PhD research scholar) has recently received UGC Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship for the project entitled, "Development and Evaluation of Polymeric or Lipidic Nanoparticulate Drug Delivery for the Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease"
  • Rajiv Lakkaniga, M. Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry, 2014-2016) secured admission in Ph.D. at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, USA under the supervision of Dr. Hong-yu Li
  • A team  of students (Nivya SharmaMeghna Goyal, Sahil Goyal, Siddharth Uppal, Suyash Sharma and Subham Chaudhary) from the Department of Pharmacy have secured a SECOND PRIZE in the APOGEE-2016 (category: Environment) on a project entitled "BIOENGINEERED WATER PURIFIER".
  • Pratyusha Vadagam, M. Pharm. (2012-2014), secured admission in MS/Ph.D. program (Pharmacy administration) under the supervision of Dr. Khalid Kamal in Duquesne University, Mylan school of pharmacy Pittsburgh for fall 2015 with complete tuition fee remission along with annual stipend.
  • Akash Taneja, B. Pharm (2011-2015), secured admission in Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick Campus for pursuing M.S. program in Medicinal Chemistry.
  • Shreyansh Jain, B. Pharm (2011-2015), shall be pursuing M.S. (Biomedical Engineering) in the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
  • Shreyansh Jain, B. Pharm (2011-2015), presently carrying out his off-campus, B.Pharm thesis project in Professor William Taylor's lab at ETH Zurich - D-HEST - Institute for Biomechanics (IfB) (Switzerland).
  • Ankur Kumar Jindal, Ph.D. research scholar joined as a post-doctoral research associate in 2014 at School of Medicine, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
  • Thesis work of the first degree student G. Karthik, entitled " An interactive, web-based tool for building decision tree classifiers" accepted for poster presentation at an international conference organized by The American Society of Human Genetics to be held in October 2014. The work was carried with at The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA.
  • Miss Dhanashree Surve (PhD scholar with Dr. Anil Jindal) receives the prestigious Sun Pharma Science Scholar Award 2020.
